About Us
Star Class was originally an astronomy education business. We produced Star News, a regular astronomy and space newsletter; Star Kids, a astronomy and space club for kids; Star Chat, a monthly online astro chat; and we produced and presented our own multimedia presentation about the solar system. With the demands of full-time work this sideline passion got put onto the shelf.
Meanwhile, other more financial business activities came to the fore. Now Star Class provides web solutions for small business amongst other things. Michael works full-time at the Australian Medical Council as a senior programmer specialising in Ruby on Rails web development whilst Leonie keeps the link to astronomy alive with her column in the CSIRO's Helix magazine.
